As most of you know

As most of you know

I might be changing my wedding date from May of 09 to Sept of 08 ---well FH willing !! haha

but I don't really see any price qoutes for RH for a Sept Sat Night or Fri Night - I did a search but it seems as many people mentioned summer prices or oct-dec prices....if you have any info would you mind sharing....

also...FH is concerned about the CH he wants it outside soo badly but he is afriad that Sept will ruin that for him (but I told him May could just as well cause of Rain haha)

how many Sept brides plan on having CH outside??

You can definatly have the Ch outside. It should still be great weather for it. I know there was a quote thread i'll see if I can bump it.

September is usually still beautiful outside, the beginning of september is actually still hot most of the time.

also with the prices, they'll be similar to august so to give you an idea look at those prices, and for end of sept i guess look at october...for now that should give you an estimate of what a particular Rh will charge

Sept is usually same price as summer...

September is gorgeous for outdoor cocktail hours (as long as it's not raining, obviously) It's not too cold and not too hot. Which halls are you looking for price quotes for? I have a few for sunday afternoons in september

I don't know how many people you are expecting but Tall Grass Country Club has a beautiful outdoor CH patio and they are very resonably priced. I loved it but we couldn't do our wedding there b/c we are getting married in February (not so good for outdoor CH) and they can only hold 150 people or so. You may want to check them out.

Personally I think Sept is better than May for outside purposes. Our anniversary is in May, and I remember it always raining for most of may

that's what I remember and we would be doing it Memorial Day weekend (the sun before memorial day) and I know it always RAINS!!!! And it is a big vacation weekend so I don't really want to have to worry about that and also I didn't want to do STD's so I figure a non-holiday weekend is better as well..

ughh I really need FH to agree with me and understand May is out of the question due to me graduating with my Masters 6 days before our wedding

Have him call me....I'll convince him....besides you need to be an 'official' 08 bride....he just has to understand that!

hahaha thank you!! i'll get him to chat with you

i gave hima bunch of reasons- some silly like i want to be an official 08 bride and the wedding date looks nicer on paper and sept is more romantic than may to me and

1. cheaper
2. we get married sooner
3. we will definitely have the $ already calculated and over estimated just incase
4. i wont be graduating 6 days after or worrying about student teaching yet
5. we can have a sat night and not pay out of our a$$ for it
6. nicer weather
7. i can have the colors i originally wanted cause they are warmer colors (champange, crimson red, taupe)
8. he will still have 3 months after he comes home from Japan to readjust
9. we will have the big things planned this june so he will def be apart of it!!!

enough reasons right??? haaha
