Honestly, is it possible to get a decent job outside of Manhattan? I am so fed up with doing the whole commuting hustle and bustle thing...I want to work in Queens or LI.
Am I looking for the impossible????

No, it just might be a lower salary in Queens or LI than it would be in Manhattan. Believe me, I'd LOVE to work in Queens. I hate commuting.

That would be so nice to not have a commute. FI's mother worked in Manhattan, but her company moved to LI and is a close drive from her house. She's so lucky!

I am not even concerned about staying within a particular industry or anything. I am just looking for a job closer to home that I am qualified to do, and pays decently. I am lost on where to even begin the search. The regular web search engines have mostly Manhattan jobs listed....
