ASKING ALL WOODLAND BRIDES .........

I am planning a Summer 2010 wedding and wanted to know what you thought of the Woodlands. We've had our first meeting there and we both love it.

Can you tell me what prices you have paid for your summer wedding?
Are you taking all your pics there? I don't know if they have gardens with flowers, all I see are greens for the golf course.
Where you happy with your wedding there?
Pros/Cons?
Did the restaurant customers/ club members interfere with your wedding?

I appreciate any help we can get. It's expensive to have it there, and I wanted to make sure it's worth every penny.

Hi - there, if you click on 'Search' and type in 'Woodlands', there are a lot of brides reviews up here on the Woodlands. That helped me as I was planning. I am getting married there next June and I thought it was beautiful. The golf course is lovely and they will take you on a golf cart around the grounds to take pics. As for golfers, ours is an evening wedding so our cocktail hour starts at 7 and I was told they close things down by then so no one is at the grill. In addition, anyone using the Mansion restaurant actually has a separate entrance so you shouldn't have any interference there. In terms of prices, we were quoted $120pp for Friday nite next June (which comes to about $150 pp including tax and gratuity). I've heard great things about this place and that the food is excellent. I also loved that if God forbid we get terrible rainy weather, the inside was so beautiful with all the old detail and fireplaces etc. Hope this helps! Laura

Hello! I got married at the woodlands on 9/27. My wedding was 7-1 so there were no golfers there. As for the restuarant they give them a seperate entrance so that they do not interfer. You can take pics on the grounds and they are very nice. It was raining the day of my wedding so I didn't get to use them. If you call them they can give you a price but, since I got married in Sept. the prices prob differ. Feel free to ask me any questions! I have not one complaint about the woodlands. The food was great, the bridal attendant was amazing, and the atmosphere is homey yet beautiful. It feels like you have the place to yourself. The only negative thing was that the sales reps changed 3x but, in the end it didn't matter everything was perfect.

I loved the Woodlands when I looked. We are getting married at the Royalton (The Roslyn Country Club). You should check them out too. They have a similar feel.

FH and are are so exicted for our wedding at the Woodlands. Our wedding on a Saturday this June. We rented the entire venue (restaurant and lower floor) for the whole day. Other brides have done this too. Our reasoning was to start the CH earlier (right after our church ceremony) and extend it to have 1.5 hrs to take pictures. There is an expo this weekend - you should check it out!
