Asking Bridal Party ..

Asking Bridal Party ..

HOw did you girls go about asking your bridal party?? Did you ask the girls individually and then when they said Yes you gathered them and gave them their Will you be my bridesmaid gift? or did you just gather them and gave them their Will you be my bridesmaid gift? without you knowing if they would accept or not??

I don't know how to go about this? Only my MOH and two BM know that I definently want them to be in my bridal party. All the others I haven't officially asked and I don't know how to go about it. Please share your thoughts. thank you

most of my bridesmaids knew from the moment i got engaged they would be a bridesmaid so it was no big deal.. no gift.. one girl i gave a cookie to because we were on bad terms and it took some convincing.. the cookie sold her and convinced her i really wanted her to be a bm

i asked them all individually.. i sent the girls bouquets of flowers in the mail with a card saying

'I would be honored if you would carry flowers like these down the aisle as a bridesmaid in my wedding.

Will you be my bridesmaid?'

FH and I decided that we would limit the BP to our siblings. We want our big day to be as simple and intimate as possible! I asked my sister right away, and I took my FSIL out to lunch and asked her.

Easy-peasy.

I asked individually. I gave all the girls cookies.

FH asked the guys individually too.

I called them up as soon as I got engaged and told them. There was no point in me waiting because I knew they would immediately ask. My MOH was also helped with the proposal so she was right there. Wish I did something, but I will make it up to them by great gifts later on!

I am in the process of asking my Bridal Party. We have asked half of the guys and half of the girls. I made some DIY cards and frames for the guys and girls. The guys came out really cute since I made little tuxedo jacket cards. The girls either got a DIY card or a homemade frame with a Will You Be My Bridesmaid poem.

The entire bridal party is also getting softball jerseys. The jerseys say Team ______ (our last name) and on the back is their title and the number 12 for 2012.
These have been a big hit so far! We will all wear them to the rehearsal dinner.
