What sort of documents/evidence do I need to present my boss with to give me a raise following the next performance review?

Re: Asking for a raise
what kind of work do you do...do you bring in money/clients to your company...do you work on projects that are successful? have you increased anything...
thats what I think they look for

Re: Asking for a raise
I analyze mortgages for credit risk.
The only thing that's been increased is my work load, the # of loans that I process and their size...

Re: Asking for a raise
do you have records of how many loans you started out processing? how many the person before you did?
also can you show the raise in the average price of mortgages?
any info on the people that you declined...and why?
sorry i don't know much about it...but I'll try

Re: Asking for a raise
I was thinking of showing the # of loans that I have done and highlighting the more complicated deals.
Last year was my first year on the job, so not sure how 1 and 2 are comparable, but I did start out with minimum knowledge of Real Estate, and since then have learned a ton!!!
Also, my current $ is only 1K more than that with which I started, so I feel that it needs to grow in order to justify my increased skills and knowledge.

Re: Asking for a raise
I think you should push how you are definitely at a new level of expertise from when you started...
youmay want to put together a folder with this info in it...
* salary range of others in your position * charts and graphs of how your work has improved/increased * the ratio of complicated applications... * also mention anything that you do in the company...is there a sunshine club or something?
COMPARE things to last year...they had to know that you were entry level right? so 1K is not a raise!!!!
