Asking someone to officiate....

Hi ladies!

I'd like to ask the priest that did the service for my dad's funeral to marry my FH and I. I'm not particularly close to Fr. Jim, but my bro and fam was. Since he has a connection to our family I thought it would be nice to have him. How should I ask him (if I even should)? Any ideas would be extremely helpful.

i think you should call him and schedule an appointment to see him and discuss it with him. tell him how much it would mean to you..
