We met w/ Rob from Couped Up last night (AWESOME GUY) and are going to move forward with him. We are picking a package that is a little bit more then what we originally wanted to spend but are okay with it - but we want to add something else to it (the bride getting ready).
It's $125 - do you think it's really rude and just inappropriate to ask if he could cut that cost down a little bit? I would never think he would just get rid of it b/c i know his prices are based on the editing time but I figured id ask the opinions of my fellow brides first.
TIA!!!

Re: Asking to cut price for video!?!?!
Was all his stuff priced by what part of the video was which?
I know all that stuff was included in my price for video with Duet. I never hurts to negotate. I would think it would have been included in the price since that is such an important part of the video.

i don't think its a bad idea to just ask if he could work with you on the prices...if he says no, then its up to you guys if you still want to add it

Re: Asking to cut price for video!?!?!
I would just say 'we're already going with a package that's a little bit out of our price range, but we'd really love to add in this extra piece without raising the cost too much - what can you do?' The worst he can say is sorry but I can't bring the price down... definitely worth negotiating tho - I've been in the same situation with my photog/videog & DJ and both times when I've wanted to add something in but it was over budget, they've been able to bring it down...

No - he has a package and this is an addition to it - so its not included in the other aspects to the video. It is important and thats why i want it - even if he doesnt cut the price we would still move forward with it anyway but it would just be a nice help if he did cut it down a little.
