How did you ask your bridal party!?

We asked our MOH and BM at our engagement party in August but its taken us until about now to figure out who the rest of our parties are going to actually be. We gave both of them mason jars with their names and titles on them to use at the party (and gave everyone else mason jars as favors that we had painted our initials on with chalkboard paint). I want to do something special for everyone else but we don't have a lot of extra cash going around right now to do something expensive.

Our bridal parties are also pretty scattered geographically (NY, CT, North Dakota) and we live in RI so any not-in-person ideas are great! One of my girls also gets her mail lost frequently so non-mail options are a bonus too. Tell me about what you did or other ideas you have! :)

I put together little packages that had pink lip gloss, nail polish, and a pretty eye shadow. I put a little tag on the lip gloss that said 'pink about it' and wrote a little note and put it in a glassine bag with the words 'pretty, please' written on the bag. They all loved it! I put pics in my profile.

I'm making boxes. Using confetti poppers to 'pop' the question (idea was found here:http://ohhappyday.com/2011/03/confetti-invitations-template/comment-page-2/#comments) , and including a champagne glass (You can't mail alcohol, it turns out) with their name on it[found here:https://www.etsy.com/listing/161691436/stemless-champagne-flute-with?ref=listing-shop-header-1], a pair of knotted earrings (Will you help me tie the knot?)[found at:https://www.etsy.com/listing/172697969/love-knot-rose-gold-stud-handmade?ref=listing-shop-header-3] a planner for next year for important dates (got it at the $1 bin in target) and vinyl decals from my shop that say 'I can't keep calm, I'm a Bridesmaid.' Havent sent them yet as I don't have everything in, but I'm super excited for them to get them!
