Asking your Bridesmaids??????HELP NEED CREATIVE PEOPLE
Ok SO here's the deal...... I want to ask some girls to be bridesmaids in our wedding but dont know how. I want to do something really creative but I cant think of anything....I dont really want to just come out and ask.....Anyone have any good ideas? Thanks!!!! HELP!!!!!!
I already asked the flower girl I thought of something creative for that.....I went to Build a Bear and made a flower girl bear and the recording was me asking her to be my flower girl. It was adorable....The bear even had a basket with fake rose petals in it!

I've heard of people doing scrapbooks of how they know their BM, for example for a cousin there would be your life together growing up.
A firend of mine also did a poem.
I just asked them because I was so excited, I couldn't wait.
I regret it though, so totally do something special.

You could also make your own cards saying will you be my bridesmaid. And give a little gift such as a BM t shirt. I was going to give a tank with their monogram on it and the word BM underneath

Honestly I never even thought of doing something creative for asking. I think it's honor to be in anyones bridal party, and that's special alone..so I wouldn't rack your brain out. The flower girl idea was sooo cute!
But giving a tee that says Bridesmaid, or a 'will you be my bridesmaid?' card is cute too.

I did a Bridesmaid card... the dress on the front was navy, which is the color of their dresses. i then stole a poem i found on LIW and put that on the inside.
and then i bought copies of the book Lilly's big Day by kevin Henkes, a popular children's author. I love his books (I am a teacher) and this one was about a little girl who wants to be a part of her teachers' wedding.... so i got them all a copy of that and wrote a message in the front asking them to be in my wedding... they loved it.. .and my flower girl went CRAZY with it! she loved it!

We gave out special presents at our engagment party to our entire wedding party , to ask them.
I saw some great bridesmaid's cards on paperstyle.com.

I made photo albums on snapfish.com and wrote a poem specifically for each bridesmaid which was printed under the photos. They loved them! Everyone cried!

i bought dual sided picture frames. on one side i had a pic of me and that girl and on the other side i personally wrote poems that related to each girl. it was great. i made everyone laugh or cry! and i did one for the moms and my grandma.

i did the will you be my bm cards.....but there is one thing i loved.......sending flowers to your bm and the card can read: 'these flowers are a symbol of the bok i'd like you to carry as my bridesmaid' i thought that was a cute idea.

Do a search on LIW, type in bridesmaid poem. it should come up!

i just tried posting my pics and it deleted my whole post - my books that i gave to my BM are in my album FM me if you want to know how i made them
my friend (dana523) asked us with books she made on kodak.com her pics are in her album
i also was given a picture frame by another friend with a poem asking me to be in her BP
