assembling my invitations

here's how I did it:

My inivitations fold over like a regular card with the wedding info on the front of the card. I put the response card (with stamped return envelope), map and hotel info inside my invitation. Then I put a piece of tissue paper on top, slid it all into the inner envelope and put the innwer into the outer envelope.

Please tell me that sounds right! My invites are similiar to these:

Sounds right. Everyone does it a different way, and the only people that pay attention to things like that are recent brides or brides to be. I am doing it a similar way. My cards don't fold. so I have (from back to front) invitation, direction and hotel reservation info, rsvp cards already in the envelopes and tissue paper.

I have the wedding book I used in front of me and that is what it says to do

I layered mine on top of the card instead of inside. From bottom to top: invite, tissue paper, map, response card & envelope But you can do it in or outside the invite.
