I was served with my walking papers at work, after 5 1/2 years, apparently my payroll position has been eliminated. There are more personal reasons as to why I was let go and not the other payroll person, but whatever I care, but I don't care at the same time because I have been miserable for the past year there.

It sux but the timing is perfect because I have some things coming up and it will all work out, I will definitely be occupied up until the wedding and then after the HM it will be full on job search.

so sorry to hear that....I've been given those same papers once or twice in my life and it always made things better for me in the long run (wouldn't of bumped into FH if I didnt receive those papers the 1st time!!!) Hang in there keep your head up and I will FM you if I hear anything regarding payroll if thats what you are still interested in doing.
