@@@$%!@$%! UPDATE at bottom of thread

I am so mad right now I could just kill FH!!!!!! We had the most stupid argument, which resulted in him yelling 'I'll talk to you tomorrow' and slamming my car door shut. Then, apparantly he was so angry he wasn't paying attention and nearly ran me off the road. I called him while driving home to tell him I really didn't appreciate him invalidating my feelings with his kind of logic. He responds by repeating his logic and tells me the conversation is making him angry and he wants to hang up the phone, so I said fine, bye and hung up.

If this argument was about something that mattered I would probably be crying, but instead I just want to throw something at him and smack him upside the head!!!

I am so angry I could just spit!!!!!
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Strange how wedding planning brings out the worst in us, huh??

I have found since planning this wedding, FH and I have had the dumbest arguments ever. Things that would not normally tick us off have us on edge.

You guys just need to calm down and breathe. Remember men are definitely from Mars and women are from Venus!! This too shall pass!!!

OMG!!! It was the most stupid argument. Get this, we play pool together, both 9-ball and 8-ball. When I first joined the league I started with 9-ball. That is the game I learned to play, so to me, it is easier than 8-ball, and that is what I said to him - to me 9-ball is easier than 8-ball. To which he responds that it's not true, 8-ball is easier, it is mathematical that because you have a larger selection of balls to shoot at, it is easier, and that all rotation games are much more difficult. HUH!?!? To which I repeat that for me 9-ball is easier, and I don't care what the math is all about. And he just continued to insist that I was wrong. Ummm, hello, how is how I feel wrong????????

For you, it's easier because it's what you're used to and familiar with....enough said.

Don't worry too much about it. He will soon realize it was a silly thing to have an argument over!!!

He just lost some cool points with me!!

I'm so sorry Darlene! I agree that when he realizes he's being an a$$, he'll apologize. Men just have this internal need to fix things...including our opinions when they perceive them to be wrong! Hang in there.

Men get their periods. It is soooo true. Im sorry you have to deal with this... Believe me... I hate when I argue with my FH. (Especially over stupidity) In my case, the only reason why we argue is because of his psycho parents. Give it some time. I'm sure the steam will blow off.

Aww Darlene, I'm sorry you 2 had such a stupid fight!! Don't worry about it, these are just little things. I know that's what makes it more frustrating, but it'll pass and you'll both be back to normal in no time. Blame it on wedding stress, happens to the best of us! Hang in there, we're here for you!!

Thanks everyone!! I can't believe we had such a stupid fight. I am still blazing mad over it!! How dare he tell me my feelings are wrong!!!!!

I haven't heard from him yet today, and being the mean spiteful ***** that I can be, I went over to his house and deposited the sweatshirt I borrowed from him last night (before the argument) in a place where he will be sure to see it!

The bigger problem for me at the moment however is that I doubt he will apologize, because his logic is correct.

I know it's hard to have these kind of silly arguments but at this point it's not about who's right and wrong it's about him just realizing that you can have your own feelings. MEN don't seem to understand that sometimes.

Darlene, I can relate...we had an argument the other day over cheese. We had gone shopping & I asked if we were good w/ American cheese & he's like we have at least 3/4 of a pack at home.

Well yesterday I go to make my sandwich at 6am for lunch at work & there's noooooo cheese.

I call him & he assures me he did not eat it & I know it was there earlier this week...he tells me I must have ate it. URRRRRRRRR

We both tend to be stubborn too...it was much worse when we didn't live together & we'd go a day or 2 w/ no calls or seeing e/o...

I hope things have worked out.

I hate the stupid arguments about wedding stuff, it really bothers me that such a special day can cause so much drama. FH and I get into fights all the time about it. It's to the point where I don't like telling him things because right away, he's on the defensive or becomes negative.
