at what age??

Do you have the talk with your children
I have an 8 yr old daughter who wants to know how babies are made and how they come out and all that i keep putting her off
My neice who is almost 7 knows and i am afraid she will tell my daughter and I really want to be the one that tells her ...so I can tell her correctly

but once she knows she will change and be different ....older in some way and maybe uncomfortable and i dont want that and I am not ready for that yet
what do I do???

I think once they ask it's time to have that talk otherwise if you don't answer her questions she probably keep asking people until she gets her answers. however I would think depending on their age depends on how much detail you should go into. Just try to keep it in simple terms, there's no need to go into every gory detail. I think the hardest part is feeling comfortable having this converstation. My mom was always very open about any questions I had so I always felt comfortable opening up to her. Looks like your little girl is growing up! Best of luck!
