At what age do you hope to have your first child by?

I always told myself I would have a kid before I was 30. I think we were taught in OB last semester that studies have shown having a child before you are 30 decreases your risk of having breast cancer. It has something to do with the hormonal changes your body goes through during and after the pregnancy. After I heard that I was like DAMN!! i gotta start having kids soon!! (i'll be 28 this may and 29 by the time i'm married).

I would like to be 27, I'll be 23 when I get married.

I'm 24 now. I'll be 25, a month away from 26, when I'm married and 27 when I graduate nursing school. I want to be settled in my nursing career before I have a child so I would say anywhere between 28 and 30.

IF we decide to have them, which I don't think will actually happen, it will be between 30-34. Being a geneticist, I know all of the chromosomal defects and chances of having congential abnormalities increase over 35, so if its going to happen, it better happen before 35!!

We hope to have a house within a year or two of being married and then a baby soon after so somewhere in between 28 and 30.

Since, I am already 29. I would like to start trying to have kids next year soon after the wedding. So around 31.

Well I already had my first kid at 20....33 now and hoping to have my next one by 35. Yes I will be sending one to college and the other to pre-k!!!!

Im turning 26 now I'll be 27 when I get married so 28 sounds good concidering FH wants to work on that starting from our honeymoon!

i would loveeeee to be 25 or 26... but thats sooo not happening... i think i'm pushing 27 - 28....

i grew up with the thought of being a young mother.. and that anything over 30, you should have at least 2 kids by then... that's just me.. my mother had me when she was 21.. and she's enjoying life today more then she ever has... sometimes i feel like it wont happen till i'm 30...

i want one by 26/27 and then I want a second through adoption at 30
