I'm inviting all of my cousins to the wedding, most of them are 18 or over, but still living at home. Do I send their invite with their parents, or send a seperate invite? I think only 1 will have a guest (the one who is also engaged). Maybe one other who has a long term BF.
Would I just address it to the parents and then give my cousin's names & guest on the inside envelope as well? Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: At what age does someone get their own invite?
I believe the rule is over 16, but I am not positive.

I would say 18.
Even if they are living at home, they should get their own invite if an adult.

I'd say if they are over 18 they should definately get their own invitation
If they are younger than 16 I'd just put their name on their parents invitation

i know that it is etiquette to invite someone who is over 18 with a guest...so therefore im thinking they should get their own invitation

Ok technically, anyone over the age of eighteen should receive his/her own invitation. Whether the individual lives at home or not is not to be taken into account when addressing invitations. According to all of the wedding etiquette 'stuff,' over 18 = individual invitation.
Ultimately, it's your decision.
For those who are under eighteen, I followed the following for my STDs (can't remember where I read it, but I followed something I read):
Mr. and Mrs. John Doe Jane, Jill, and Jack 123 Sesame Street Anytown, USA 12345
The children are included in order of age (oldest to youngest).
I hope that helped.

Oh - perfect! Thank you - I think by the time of the wedding, only one of my cousins will be under 18 (15 or 16 i think).
All of FH's are 11 or younger - so i didn't have to worry about them :-P
Thanks so much for everyone's help though!

16 and over get own invite, and if they were 18 and over, I invited them with a guest

We did highschool and above even if they were living at home. They also got their own placecards.
