At what point during the reception...

Do the bride and groom doing 'table rounds'?

we plan on doing ours in 2 parts....we will do one side of the room during the appatizer course...and the other side of the room right after we finish our dinner...we plan on eating quickly

Honestly we started right after our first dance and didnt finish until the end of the wedding. We sat down for about 10 minutes during dinner.

We'll probably have to two it in two parts. Our wedding is huge! we're expecting approx 350 guests to show, and I want to get it done as quickly as possible so I can enjoy my reception!

We want to make sure we get to eat all of the yummy food! So we will be going to the cocktail hour to get as many greetings done as possible. We will then do the rest during the reception, but NOT during dinner

Didn't do the rounds at the reception. We did it at the cocktail hr. Towards the end of the night poeple came up to us to give us envelopes, but we partied at our reception.

Unfortunately we can't do cocktail hour, as our cocktail hour will be before the ceremony and then while everyone is having appitizers we'll be taking our after ceremony pictures.

We will be doing ours probably during the first and second course. We hope to sit down and enjoy our dinner. Isn't it sad though that after all the hard work and preperation you put into your wedding to ensure you will enjoy it you spend most of the time greeting guests? I know we want to thank them for sharing in our day but it is important for all of us to remember to spend most of our time enjoying our new husbands

We started our rounds on the dance floor after the Dj called us up for our first 'fast dance' Then proceeded to make our way around the room.

This is my intention too. I definitely want to be able to fully enjoy my reception.

I would think throughout the reception. I would like to get through it as quickly as possible so we can enjoy ourselves as much as possible.

I did this, but it took a lot of time (we had 250 guests) and I kinda wished I did it during the Cocktail hour.

Ditto! Although we went to say hi to a few out of towners, we mostly partied during our reception. All 5 hours of it!
