We are planning to get married in Sept. or Oct of 2010. I really just want to book the RH and get a date.. and then not have to worry about anythiing for a few months!
We looked at one RH so far - Atlantica, in Westhampton - and we like it ( I fell in love with it) but it seems to be on the pricey side. ...
Does any one have any ideas of RH or places to get married out east (Westhampton - East), or reviews of Atlantica? Have any of you looked at or booked Wolffer Vineyards, or Vineyard Caterers?
I've been reading these boards since I've been engaged - but haven't really asked anything....hope you girls can help. I posted this on brides 2010 and they suggested I post here...
Thanks!

Re: Atlantica or other RH out East
I too fell in love with Atlantica but for what they were offering us, it was not worth the money. I am sure there are other places out there for less money. If you do end up booking there, I will say the food is AMAZING!!!! hope this helps Lauren

Vineyard Caterers is incredible! Johnny and both Bill's are a pleasure to work with. Everyone there really bends over backwards to make sure you're happy! FM me if you have any questions about VC!

Re: Atlantica or other RH out East
I've been to 2 weddings at Vineyard Caterers and they were both amazing!! The food, cocktail hour, and decor...not to mention the HUGE bridal suites were so nice. I have also been to one at Georgio's which was really nice! The sound on the north shore makes for some great beach pics, if that's something you are looking for...

Thanks for all of your input! My FMIL said the 2 best weddings she has gone to out here were Atlantica and Vineyard Cateters.... I think I am going to call VC tomoorow....
I am still crossing my fingers for Atlantica though!

Re: Atlantica or other RH out East
I was supposed to look at atlantica but never made it :( my parents live on the same street and have been there a few times, said the food was pretty good but not the best they have had.
I really really really wanted a tented wedding at the southhampton inn... if only i was a millionair. ill keep dreaming on that one. I guess it could be done for less money but im planning from out of state so it would be wayyy to difficult.
I also wanted to look at gurneys in montauk but FH didnt want to do that far out
is sayville too west of what you want? check out lands end, it has a very similar feel to atlantica, (i looked at both) and its bigger and you get much more for your money.

Were you married at the Southampton Inn? I'd love to hear from brides that were.

So did I! I remember a bunch of brides saying they had to move their weddings to Allegria Hotel in Long Beach.
