Atlantis Aquarium, attended or having reception there?
Just wondering if anyone has attended a wedding reception there or is planning to have one there. ANY information would be greatly appreciated. I really like the idea that it is different, but sometimes that doesnt necessarily mean good. Help!!

i seriously thought about having it there because Fh is a fish nut...but it was too far away. I think it would be a beautiful place to get married though!good luck!

A friend of mine went to a wedding there 2 weeks ago. She said it was very different and the food was suprisingly good! Overall she said it was a very nice reception (not sure if they got married there too). Hope this helps

I went to an affair there, it wasn't a wedding though. If you are having a wedding I suggest it only for a smaller one (around 125) b.c the room isn't huge. The main room is very cool with all the fish around and the shark tank in the back... but it is very muggy and it smelled like fish. The room is crecent shaped, so the guests end up being divided sort of. You can't look out and see the entire party from one spot. The food wasn't bad... but I would consider NOT serving fish on the menu! LOL. Hope this helps!!

I think it is a great idea. This was on our short list of sites but it was too far east for most of our guests. My DH worked there in his younger years and thought it would be cool.
It is definately different and worth a look. I think they close down the aquarium during your reception so the guests have the ability to look at all the exhibits without anyone there. I don't think it hold that many people...maybe around 125 but I definately think its worth a look!!!
