It's about a transcontinental railroad company; utopian communities and objectivism. I haven't read this--did read The Fountainhead. Atlas Shrugged is sitting on my bookshelf....

I just ordered it so I am waiting for it to come, I read the description but was hoping for more of the storyline..... Maybe we'll read it at the same time!

One of my favorite books of all time (the other being The Fountainhead)

Ayn Rand's not for everyone, and she does get a bit preachy at times. But, she writes beautiful stories about the human spirit and accepting nothing but the best from yourself and others.

I read both Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead...they were excellent books.
