Aside from the shuttle service, is there any significant differance between the Executive Inn and the Best Western on Jericho Turnpike? They are the same owners...

Which would you or did you go with?

I blocked off rooms at the Executive Inn solely b/c of the free shuttle.

Not the chicest of hotels but I thought it was a tad nicer than its sister property (IMO)

That's exactly why I blocked rooms at the EI. The shuttle service to take the guests back and forth. Plus, since I'm having a day wedding that's over at 5, the shuttle will even take the guests to the bar down the street after the reception! Just an added bonus so people are aware that they can drink and not have to worry about driving!!!

I voted for the executive inn because of the shuttle. the rooms are not that much different (and from what I remember the price isn't much different either)

I believe both places are owned by the same people.

I haven't been to the Best Western, but I did go to the Executive Inn and was not a fan. Sorry, I gues I'm of no help, and we ended up booking at the Inn at Fox Hollow instead.

Did you check out the Marriott Residence in Plainview? It's just a VERY short ride on the Seaford Oyster Bay, and it's right off Old Country Rd. And the hotel is PERFECT (bar, restaurant where we're having our rehearsal dinner, game room, arcade, pool, gym, sauna, breakfast the next morning, BEAUTIFUL rooms, etc.)

Just wanted to make sure you knew all the options in the area. We're paying an outside bus company for a guest transportation bus.

BTW... this is my 1000th post!!
