anyone know what to use to attach vellum to cardstock or the best way to do it without there being anything super noticeable on either? thanks!

Re: attaching vellum
i usually use glue sticks.
the elmer's gel kind.
if you can manage to keep it very light and even, you dont notice it.

Re: attaching vellum
I experimented with this and used double sided tape, it didn't go over so well. The vellum kept coming off the candle holder but I think it was because they have permanent double sided tape and semi permanent and I bought the semi permanent.

Michaels sometimes gives scrapbooking classes for free on Sundays (you have to buy the material though of course). Check it out!

Re: attaching vellum
there is also vellum tape cause sometimes i find the sprays to get all over the place and glue more than i wanted to
just go to any craft store and ask them...usually in the scrapbooking adhesive area

Re: attaching vellum
They have matt spray for matting pictures, etc. Its in most craft stores or art supply stores. They have var. names just make sure it says dries clear. Sometimes it doesn't on black stock you can see this little sprizzle of something. I ruined a huge project thanks to that.

Re: attaching vellum
just an update if anyone is interested....the 'vellum tape' was amazing! its easy to find in the craft store...they have like a 3m kind...you just cut it, rub it, and peel off the backing...then just press the vellum down...the tape didnt show through...yay!!!!
i couldnt find any spray and the craft store ppl acted like they had no idea what i was talking about...so i just got the tape.
im going to save the rest for the unity candle!
ps ill post pics of my projects as soon as i get them up on the computer!
