Attention WCC Brides...

So what room is everyone having their reception in?

We are getting married at the lakeside gazebo ceremony area and then we are going to have the upstairs room.

Just curious what everyone else picked.

Same here! And I couldn't be happier with our choice. The outdoor area looked beautiful with all the snow and the lighting from the lamps, yesterday. I can't wait for August! They also did a beutiful job with the Mills room . I'm in lala land right now

Yeah, it was a tough decision for us too. We had a choice of either areas. Both rooms and outdoor gazeboos are beutiful.

i like the fact that everything was on one floor (no need for stairs) ... i also fell in love with the lounge furniture setup by the pool ... but that ended up being too expensive so we prob won't be doing it.

Ye me neother the furniture seems way too expensive. How much di they tell it was im curious. I never asked.

We fell in love with the Lakeside Gazebo. That was the easy part. We just didn't know if we could except having the room chosen for us by choosing that. However, in October its a good idea to have both indoor and outdoor cocktail options. So thats why we stayed with our ceremony area and our room.

The furniture did look nice. After you told me how much it was though, I took that idea right out of my head. Last night my Future cousin said she didn't like sitting in it (great reinforcement) I guess its too low when you are wearing a dress.

furniture was $1200 for 8 loveseats, 2 square coffee tables, 2 palm trees, some other tropical plants, 2 pineapples to put on the tables, and some white sand.

we negotiated with them and they lowered it to $1000 but that's still WAY too much to spend on one hour of use!

and they refused to let us rent any less than that package ... i have no idea why.

FH and i thought the palm trees were a bit tacky with their overly-fake leaves. i'm glad i have an extra reason not to rent the sofas now thanks!

We chose the room upstairs...we just thought it was nicer. We also liked that it had a stage for our band. We also liked that the CH had an indoor/outdoor.

Poolside Gazebo and Garden room (i did think the Mills room was nicer) but we are having about 275 guest so we had to go with the garden.

The outdoor furniture i love, and i guess i will be paying the extra money..my FH didnt even go see the place, but we are both from the carribean, and he loved the pics of the outdoor so he told me to book it without he even going...

I thought the uplighting was included, but i just got off the phone with them and was told it was an upgrade since they have a new system.. ughhhhh

It comes with an indoor room and has a outside patio.
