Just curious is any of you accounting people took the exam and if so, how did you prepare?
I want to take the exam but I am thinking of taking a prep class for it. Has anybody taken a class and had success?? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I just passed all four parts. If you work for a Big Four company yourcompany should pay for a review. I wouldnt have passed without the Becker Conviser textbooks.
I thought that the classes were dumb, but the books and questions were very helpful.

My brother passed his CPA on his first try, but he truly put hours into preparing. He did do a review class and I believe the class gave him a CD that he could work on online at home. Sorry I can't give you more info.
He used to work for EY.

My husband took it in two segments last year. He took a course one night a week at a hotel ( I think it was Becker) and he studied every day of his life! It paid off because he passed it quickly! Best of luck!!
