I'm working with Leo too. How does everyone else like working with him? He doesn't do a good job at returning my calls. Basically,if I call and he's available then I get to talk to him. He's pretty cool though when I do get to speak to him.

yeah..i think leo works very hard to make sure everybody is happy that is standing in front of him...

he had a streak of not returning phone calls. then at 8ish at night ( i called during the afternoon)... he called back and took me by surprised... he means well. i enjoy working with him

Yeah, for the most part I enjoyed working with Leo too. I was just disappointed because when I went to visit Crest Hollow during the holidays to look at the Emerald Room again I lost my glasses. I called and left messages for him and emailed him asking him if he saw it. I never received a response from him. The receptionist was very helpful though.

Does anyone have Mitch for a BM? I never hear from him - but then again my wedding isn't until September so I really don't have much of a reason to talk to him yet, do I?

i would guess 200...and less

they gave us a layout of tables and there isnt that much room left...(to walk comfortablely)

hi ladies...i might have a few answers...you can throw anything you want (petals, rice, etc.), they have people to clean them up--but let them know if you have red petals so they can put down an extra runner....the capactity for the emerald room is around 250, i have seem them fit 350 in there but there were tables on the dance floor and it was way too tight(in my opinion) ...they do fondant cakes but it is extra, not sure how much...if your BM was gabe and you are upset he left, don't be-you are much better off (i know i shouldn't say that but that is also just my opinion)...FM me is you have any other questions! :)

I wonder why my BM told me that the capacity for the Emerald Room is 400. The more I read this thread the more stressed out I'm getting about having my reception at Crest Hollow. No one ever told us about the extra charge for the beer (separate thread), our BM takes forever to call us back, one person says we can have a violin at our outdoor reception and then the next tells us it is strictly forbidden....now the capacity of the room is different than we thought. Great.
About the beer charge....don't even get me started on that. That is the most ridiculous policy I've ever heard...and how totally frustrating that I had to read about it on a message board and not from my BM.

if it's an indoor ceremony, they should provide a carpet runner, and the florist should provide a paper-thin one to put down. I am almost positive that the carpet is standard for all ceremonies inside--they never use one outside though...

DITTO!!!!! Say it sister, say it! I'm really about fed-up with CHCC too, but I'm going to wait until my wedding day before I give my final opinion.

So does anyone know what kind of beer/liquor is included with the package that they tell you about? Has anyone gotten a straight answer from CH about what is included and how much the extra charges are and for what? This is ridiculous! Also, is there an open bar during dinner?

True, which is why I am waiting until my wedding to form my final opinion. I was never told about the extra charges for beer (I'm hoping it's 'included' for me) so I will wait until I go in to see my BM. Oh I did call Crest Hollow and they said that formerly the room could hold 300 comfortably (no squeezing through tables, etc), but with the new renovation they are adding 880 square feet and that it should sit 380-400 people comfortably. Oh I spoke to another BM (Jeff, he was really cool) because Leo was out.

Maybe I'm going through a bridezilla moment....

I don't see how the night that our wedding is taking place would affect the room capacity. Interesting.....

You;re right, I'm not going to worry about the room anymore. I'm going to focus on narrowing down my guestlist instead!
