What type of HW do they give?

Oh, about the cakes. I know that CHCC has the standard cakes, but I was under the impression anything other than that is extra. Are you saying that there are 10 standard cakes to choose from?

Where are you having your CH? What are you choosing for your menu? Gosh, your date is getting close!!

OH, someone asked above, but I don't think CHCC allows the throwing of rice,rose petals.

i guess i missed the question about the rose pedals... im not sure. when would they throw it? on the way back down the alise?

hw includes writing out list of events such as b-k toss, father/daughter dances etc...
guesslist, seating chart. they give you a floor layout so you can plan who is where.

the cakes range from 200-600. not bad for the fondant cakes i guess. i don't know what they go for. i should of took a pic of the one i like.

Hi Everyone! I'm getting married at the CHCC on 9/2/05! In the Emerald Room, so looking forward to seeing more pictures when it is completed! Fiance and I also picked a sundae bar instead of the second dessert. We are both ice cream lovers and can't wait for the sundae bar.

omg what happens if when its done i hate it....its not fair that i bought a room that wont be there and they probably wont give us our $ back

what dont you like about it?
i think its great....don't get me wrong, i love the orginal and was happy with it.
The layered effect will stay.. i think they are tieing this room into the whole place in general as the rooms upstairs are kinda similar

Actually, they included it in our price - usually you get some sort of second dessert with your cake - some type of ice cream. But when he (Mitch is my banquet manager) said that they had a sundae bar, my fiance and i got so excited that he said he would replace the second dessert with the sundae bar! I was sold after that one!!!

just check out our mini review (omg, i'm getting married) before we leave to HM

i couldn't i didnt start seeing what it would truely look like until i got home and compared the pictures.

I am having my reception at the CCHC in 28 days!! YIPPEE! How does the bridal attendant get assigned to the bride and groom? What do you do? And I heard that some of the bridal suites are larger than others...how does that work? Who gets the bigger room? I assume the larger bridal party gets the larger room. And is there a way to find out how many weddings are taking place on my night?

I have a good question. I'm having my ceremony there and can the DJ play the ceremony music or do i have to hire a harpist or something?

And after the ceremony, on the way down from the garden, can they throw petals? Maybe i'll just get bubbles for them to blow.

I think the emerald room looks real classy, almost vintage like, that's the theme of my wedding, so i'm happy. Very exciting. By the way, love Jeff Saber. He's way cool.

I have a question - How long before the ceremony can we get there to take pictures on a Friday night? Does anyone know, if anything i will call tonight.
