I just went online to order some stuff, for Xmas delivery. I was done with my order, and they said 'Will arrive no later than 12/23'. I was like, WOW Then I happened to look at the status of another order, which I placed on Friday, and paid extra for 2 day shipping... And it said 'Order not shipped yet, estimated delivery date 01/05-01/13!!!!!
Check on your orders!!! I cancelled both of these. The worst part, they never emailed me to say the shipment was delayed! AND they kept the extra charge on for the 2 day delivery!

i am supprised.. i have never had that problem and i have done a lot of last minute xmas shopping a few yrs now... when ever i get an xtended delivery date they let me know item is not available at time of order... Anyway, Good luck!

I'm surprised. Amazon is usually so good. I just ordered from them last Thursday, got the free super-saver shipping and it arrived on Monday.

I guess they really are hit or miss! I plan on ordering FHs Bday present (the books I had to cancel for Xmas!!!), but I weill order them early enough.

Yeah, you have to be very careful because some items are coming from other sources and take a lot longer. I'm currently mad at them becuase they split my shipments and one already arrived but one only got packed on 12/18 and still hasn't arrived. They finally gave me a tracking number, and it keeps saying 'tracking not available at the moment.' Grr!! It better come tomorrow because I'm leaving town on Saturday and then I won't be able to give FH gift on Christmas Day.

If they are books, try B&N.com. Their shipping methods are pretty good.
