That sounds sooo pretty!! I'm hoping there is uplighting so i can see what it looks like. Do they let you taste anything from cocktail hour or just the main entrees?

Just the main entree's. They gave us almost all of them, including some of the ones that were upgrades.
We wound up picking the Chateau Briand, Porcini dusted chicken, and Miso glazed salmon. For vegetarian we picked Butternut squash ravioli which were AMAZING. A lot of non-veg people ordered it.
If you have questions about any of the cocktail hour food I can let you know how it was. I had the seafood station, coney island station and smokehouse station.

now I'm hungry! I think we are def picking the Coney Island station. I wish we had more than 3 included because they all seem so good. Did you opt for the four course mean or the 3 course salad-app combo?

We did the Four course. Tomato and Mozz appetizer House Salad Chateau Briand or Porcini dusted chicken breast or Miso glazed salmon or veg Wedding cake and dessert
We upgraded to the deluxe viennese...omg it was amazing! Every single thing was delicious. and the wedding cake was by A Sweet Peace bakery, the best wedding cake I ever had. My aunt confessed that she ate everyone at her table's because they left it for the viennese.

OH also for dessert, the chocolate covered strawberries were amazing. They were huge! My dad joked to the Maitre D (Eric) that they were too small, and Eric thought he was serious and started apologizing. My dad had to explain he was kidding!

Wait until you go to the tasting, she gives you about a dozen mini cupcakes in diff flavors with different frostings that are used for the fillings. My dad and sister devoured them when we got home.

I think I went 4 months before? You can call your Banquet manager and ask when they suggest. She will give you Alison's contact info (alison is the baker).
She also does her best to get you to leave with a 0 balance. I had fondant covering my whole thing and it wasn't any extra.

That was my next question. Not sure about how I want the cake yet but was hoping the up charges wouldn't be too crazy.

We had our tasting tonight and the food was soooo good. We tried the prime rib, miso glazed salmon and herb chicken, everything was cooked perfectly and even the sides were delicious. It's making everything seem so real and as always Samantha is so wonderful. I can't wait for my wedding day
