Hey ladies...FH and I are looking for hotels in the area to block out rooms. We will need to block out about 50 rooms. Any suggestions for reasonable prices??
The hilton garden inn has these great jacuzzi suites, basically a king room with a two person jacuzzi in the room. then a seperate room with bathroom and standing shower. very nice setup but the staff is not willing to budge about the shuttle fees.
they also quoted me over 200 for sept
I tried to block off rooms at hilton garden inn in june of 2012 and they told me that they couldn't confirm anything until they heard back from a convention/big event that is supposed to take place one weekend in june 2012 - tbd. sorta frustrating but they quoted me $209. I ended up blocking rooms off at crowne plaze in holtsville and will bus people in. there's also a new hyatt that is opening near the aquarium in riverhead. they will be at a bridal expo in the city next week that i'm going to check out. curious to see what their rates are going to be.
