Hey girls. I just got off the phone with George Jr. from Giorgio's. He asked me to let you all know that he is putting the original chairs back in the ballroom. (The white and black chairs.) He would like to know your thoughts, concerns, and opinions. Please post your comments here and I will let him know what everyone thinks.
Edit: I am calling Giorgio tomorrow....let me know if there is anything specific you want me to ask him. 1. we like the old chairs if they are still nice 2. signature drink? 3. bathroom baskets? 4. picture of table numbers

I get my updates from here, and you don't have to use their table numbers - i'd just like to see them, so perhaps it's one less thing I have to do.
UPDATE: George Jr. just posted that the chairs will be RECOVERED - the old chairs are back!!

Can we get a picture of the direction card too? I asked for one when I first booked, and that one had an advertisement for Sunday brunch on the back. Do all of their direction cards advertise brunch or do they have clean ones to send to wedding guests?

I have a direction card. I can scan it if you wanna see it. i'm not using it because my invitation lady will be making a card to match the invites. i just took one so i could see what their directions are.

one other question for george or maybe you guys can help answer but were you told that they would be able to put couches in the main room during the reception to give the room a more loungey feel?
are any of you getting married on-site? i've been told that we can't even do a rehearsal on-site unless it's a wed or thursday, otherwise we have to do it day of the wedding. just somewhat frustrated because i want everything to go off without a hitch and not being able to practice until day of makes me nervous.

The reason you can't do a rehearsal is probably bc they have other weddings booked. I don't think thats uncommon when you are getting married at the RH. I was told about the couches, however, I think i'm gonna have too many people to do that so I didn't pay much attention to it.

are you over 200? i was just looking at the seating chart and it looks like if i have over 175, the space that was designated for the couches get taken over by additional tables.

i'm gonna be right between 175 and 200 i think. i would rather spread out the tables a bit more then have the couches. i dont see how much the couches will be used during the reception. if they were in cocktail hour maybe

I'm getting married onsite too - however, I'm not really concerned with a rehersal. I'm more concerned with the weather holding up and being fab, so I can have my wedding outdoors.
I didn't hear anything about the couches... I guess I missed a lot when I went there.... However, I'm inviting over 230 - so I expect with the 20% no that I'll be having 190. I personally would rather have more room than couches.... that's just me tho.
