ATTN Giorgio's Brides Update at the TOP

Hey girls. I just got off the phone with George Jr. from Giorgio's. He asked me to let you all know that he is putting the original chairs back in the ballroom. (The white and black chairs.) He would like to know your thoughts, concerns, and opinions. Please post your comments here and I will let him know what everyone thinks.

He will be posting pictures on facebook:

Edit: I am calling Giorgio tomorrow....let me know if there is anything specific you want me to ask him.
1. we like the old chairs if they are still nice
2. signature drink?
3. bathroom baskets?

I'd love to do a Giorgio's G2G! I'm Jessica and I'm from Medford.

I'm so happy to hear that the old chairs are coming back! I think they're so much nicer than the new ones. At the show, I saw a few of them fall over because someone hung either a coat or a bag on the back of it.

anyone remember George saying about doing a frozen drink station outside if its nice for no charge? I booked a while ago but I swear I remember this. Can you ask?

As far as the frozen drink stations - I was told one would be on the balcony in the CH room - if the weather permitted, and perhaps outside near the gazebo

I'm Erin and I'm from Medford....currently live in Maryland though, so probably won't be around for a GTG

I also remember being told about the frozen drink station at no charge...glad someone else remembers that too!!!

I'm Alyssa from Lindenhurst ... what is a g2g?

As for the rehearsal which some of you were wondering I asked a few times bc I was a paranoid. I'm going to try to do mine during the week before but they told me if you don't its fine bc they have people literally telling you what to do the whole ceremony so you won't really have a problem.

Hi Girls,

Quick question- when I booked (back in 2009), on one of the price quote sheets I got from Giorgio's has a $500 tip for Maitre-d's and Bridal Attendants included on the front of my sheet and specifically listed as a 'tip'.....

The back of the actual contract has it listed as a 'fee' now that I look at it....

Anyone know if that $500 covers their tip, or if it is a fee? I feel like for the per person prices we are paying, charging an additional fee for those individuals seems a bit absurd, so I was hoping someone could clarify that for me!!!!

I believed it was the tip, but now I'm seeing people posting how much of a tip you should give to the Maitre-d's and Bridal Attendants - i'm seconding guessing myself.

I guess this doesn't really count as me helping, but perhaps someone else can chime in

I'm assuming it covers the tip since they told us it needed to be paid in cash. My contract doesn't say anything about the bridal attendant (is that included?) but does have maitre'd.

I think the only extra that would be shelled out in terms of tip for maitre'd would be if they went above and beyond.For the bridal attendant I'm assuming I will have to tip separately like all the other vendors.

By the way, Giorgio's also just added filet mignon to the regular menu, it's no longer an upgrade item.

I remember George Sr saying that we would not be expected to tip above and beyond the gratuity put in our contract for the wait staff and the maitre d. I guess we have to tip the bridal attendant. Does anyone know if we definitely have a bridal attendant?
