Attn: Readers! What books are you bringing on your honeymoon?

Original post by roan126

We are going to be away for 9 days. So far I've got Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin and Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. Looking for one more. Any suggestions?

I might bring the book 'bringing down the house' its the true story about those college kids that took vegas. The movie is out now with kevin spacey and those MIT kids. FH read and said it was good

for other girls, if you want something light try bergdorf blondes or divorcee debutante

i'm about 1/2 through The Memory Keeper's Daughter, it's such a beautiful and emotional book so far. It's the type of book you want to take in every word.

I've heard about The Memory Keeper's Daughter. Is that the story where a couple had twin girls I believe, and they have to give one up, so the housemaid or something like that took her in?

13 Minutes by Jodi Picolt was really good you will definitely enjoy

Kite Runner is a heavy book, I loved it , but it was a little intense

A Thousand Splendid Suns (written by the same author of Kite Runner) was also amazing! This has to do with 2 women and it was intense and sooo refreshing. You should look into it.

yes. they have twins, a boy and a girl, but the girl is born w/ down syndrome, so the father (who is a dr) instructs the nurse to take her away to an institution. instead, she keeps her for herself. (this is all on the back cover, not giving anything away). i'm loving it so far!

i plan on bringing the rest of the phillippa gregory (author of other boleyn girl) books that i bought months ago but have not read b/c of school

i also read that ken follett came out with a sequel to pillars of the earth, one of the most amazing books ever, but i'm only bringing that if it's out in paperback. I never sleep on the plane so I'll definitely have that time to read.

I read it and it was excellent as well. I am such a nerd , I prefer books to most people

Pillars of the Earth was one of my favorites , I read it when I was in college , and it was a LONG book, like over 900 pages i think

The memory keepers daughter, I couldn't put down i think I read that in 2 days

Something Borrowed is so good! Something Blue is really good too. If you read the 1st you have to read the 2nd. Baby Proof by her is supposed to be good too and she has a new one coming out in May called Love the One You're With that I can't wait to read.

There is a new Sophie Kinsella one out too called Remember Me?

I have been addicted to these books for the past 3 weeks. I am on Baby Proof. I loved the 1st 2 and I'm soooooooooo excited for her new one coming out! So if you're bringing Something Borrowed...I would for sure bring Something Blue!

This was a phenomenal book...probably the best I've ever read. Its brutal and tragic and graphic, but you WILL not be able to put it down.
