Hey, I am a watermill bride and I had a question for other brides that have either had their wedding at the Watermill or are going to.
I wanted to know if any of you were told that there would be two weddings held at the same time or if it was that there was one afternoon wedding and one evening wedding. I am having a conflict with them right now over this and wanted to find out what you guys were told.
Thanks!

Re: ATTN WATERMILL BRIDES
i know that there will be another wedding the same day as mine in the downstairs room while i'm in the upstairs room, but it starts earlier than mine so i didn't really care to be honest. they told me that the very first day i thought about booking with them.

Re: ATTN WATERMILL BRIDES
That is what they told me as well but now I found out that there is going to be a wedding going on that starts only a half hour before mine and since there is only one cocktail room I am concerned about how they are going to breakdown the other one and set up in time for my guests with only a half hour difference.

Re: ATTN WATERMILL BRIDES
maybe the other bride is having her cocktail hour outside? i went to a wedding there this past august and i think there were 3 wedding going on at once. the one i was attending had her cocktail hour outside and it was very nice.

Re: ATTN WATERMILL BRIDES
They definitely told me there would be another wedding going on, but it would start an hour later. We'll be downstairs and they will be upstairs. There are also different CH spaces. There's like 5 small rooms upstairs and 2 distinct areas outside, so I wouldn't worry too much. To ease your mind, call your BM and see if you could take another quick tour where he would point out where the others will be.

Re: ATTN WATERMILL BRIDES
hmmmmm..... I'm booked with the downstairs room and they told me that my wedding would start an hour before the upstairs wedding. I don't know what the deal about only having 30min in between is. This is making me a little nervous I think I may call them right now. But I know that they definitely told me that there is at least an hour apart if not a little more.
ETA: **UPDATE**:
Ok, I just called to double check that nothing was changed and it wasn't. I was just told that there is definintely an hour in between each wedding. My cocktail hour is going to be in the upstairs room (because I don't think I want it outside in November) so they need at least an hour to get the next room ready for their wedding. Phew, you had me a little nervous. Maybe they told you 30min accidently, if your concerned about what they told you I'd definitely call and clarfiy.
