Awwwww thank you so much girls!
We decided to hold off on telling him until at least tonight so that he wouldn't get upset at school today. This way he would have the weekend to recover. So as of right now he still doesn't know.
He came into our room in the middle of the night last night and said, 'Mommy, someone is in my room.' He wasn't scared and went right back to bed. I have a feeling it was his daddy saying goodbye.

Its going to be hard but I hope that everything goes as smooth as it possibly can when you talk to him later. I think you made the right choice by waiting until tonight to tell him. At least he can be with you all day and night throughout the weekend.
