Audrey's cake flavors?

Audrey's cake flavors?

I've decided to get my FH the groom's cake from Audrey's (pictured below...isn't it cute?)

Anyways, my FH hates chocolate, so what are some good fillings that you have had? I'm thinking yellow cake. Should I do one or two filling flavors? Any combinations that are especially yummy?

Thanks!

Our wedding cake was a vanilla cake with white chocolate mousse filling. It was delicious and everyone even asked for seconds!

We did yellow cake with banana creme and raspberry filling. I thought DH was crazy for picking it, but it was so good!

I would go for a fruit filling if that's the case.

but on a side note, how can anyone hate chocolate?!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, but to me they all look good. I want some opinions!

Also I didn't know if people pick just one filling, or if you can have a different one for each layer

What about a cookies and cream filling (if they have it there) or instead of plain yellow cake do chocolate chip yellow cake. Try to make it a little more low key than the fillings for your wedding cake.

Our Audrey's wedding cake had two fillings--raspberry and chocolate mousse. They went really well together and everyone raved about it. The white choc. mousse sounds great too!

Now hearing from you girls, I'm leaning towards either:

strawberry and banana creme

or

raspberry and white chocolate mousse

what do you think?

Re: Audrey's cake flavors?

what a cute cake!!!!!! i love audreys!

for our e-party cake my FMIL (who ordered it--it's a surprise for us) but she DID tell me that inside it's a 'chantilly/fruit cream' filling--it's very light and she said she tasted it and it was delicious and very different... i think it either has like a raspberry or a strawberry with a cream--but if you tell them chantilly (since they are a good bakery) they should know... the baker told my FMIL it's perfect for people who are not fans of chocolate...

we also have a canoli cream on the other side of the cake (it's half chantilly and half canoli).. maybe he would like that??

then there are always classics:
vanilla mousse
buttercream
gonash (or however you spell it lol)
vanilla pudding

good luck, HTH!!!!!!!

mmmm omg that sounds good-- the strawberry/banana cream is similar to the chantilly i suggested and FMIL raved over so i would go with that!!
