So, we can get our cake from Audrey's or Black Forest. Any pros/cons to either? We don't want fondant, and were hoping for some sort of peanut butter/chocolate combo on one layer.
Who should we pick and why?

Audrey's I have yet to get something from there that was delish. Always fresh.

I just wrote about this on a RIviera thread. I use Black Forest for my everyday bakery and they are great. I used Audrey's for my grooms cake and was blown away by how good it was.....way better than my wedding cake that came from another bakery.

Wow that is hard...my shower cake was from BF and my wedding cake was from Audrey's. Both were delicious I guess if i had to give advice I would recommend Audrey's...only because it's your wedding and I know they make beautiful and yummy wedding cakes!! (See my avatar!!)

although Ive yet to try Audrey's - Ive never had a bad cake, pastry...whatever - from Black Forest - they are AMAZING!

I have yet to try either but I did just email Audrey's for a quote on a grooms cake. Got a quote somewhere else but if I can get the wedding cake and grooms cake from location it would be a lot easier.
we have the same choice. We are going with audrey's cause i have had cake from there and was delish - the cake they had from black forest at the showcase seemed a bit dry IMO

Both are great. We are using Audrey's, my BF's cake was the best wedding cake I've ever tasted, and it was from Audrey's.
