we have all of our big things booked/ordered except makeup. i am going to do 1-2 trials when i am back in NY early March.
We have lots of little details to take care of though.

I'm indecisive and planning from out of state so it's a bad combo. I go through phases of lots of planning (when I'm in NY) and then big gaps where I just waste too much time on here.
I'll be back in NY in March and I plan to do my hair trial, 1-2 makeup trials, go back to my hall to see the ceremony room again so I can plan out decorations, pick up my veil and try it on with my dress, check out some BM necklaces I ordered online, meet with the florist, etc.
I keep wavering about my colors (blue/coral v. blue/green) and have been working a ton on an 'out of town guide' to email out that i will probably send out tomorrow.
it's so weird to be under the 6 month mark, there is so much left to do!

Well my family is all in NY (I just go to law school out of state) so my mom has done a lot of the legwork for me. Our BM dresses are blue and have been ordered, but I can't decide if I want to do coral flowers (see my albums) or if I should do white callas or maybe white and green. I love bright summery colors but sometimes I love the blue/coral and sometimes I don't think it looks elegant. Whatever color combo we choose, I'd like to incorporate in some accents for the room etc.
We have a lot of OOT guests (all of FH's family, most of our college friends, FH's HS friends, my law school friends, etc). I made a 'guide' with info on our blocked hotel rooms, the airports w/ airport codes, taxis w/ phone numbers, rental car info, info about how we are providing shuttles day of, info about things to do near the hotel in case people get in early on Saturday, restaurants nearby for Sat night, and then I also included a section on NYC because FH's family will be coming in a few days early to visit NYC before coming out to LI.
I did a nice layout in pretty colors w/ pix in photoshop and I'm just editing and it's pretty much ready to go.
Edit: We are emailing this out now to encourage people to book hotel/flight early, and to give us an idea of which OOTers are planning to come. Also we are going to put a modified copy in their OOT boxes.

OMG!! That pic you have aof the dress with the coral flowers photoshopped in is awesome!! Love it!! I think the blue & coral look great together!! I love the 2 cakes that had both colors too!! And most important you have to do what makes you happy!!
