August Brides I have a question

where are u going on ur HM???
I'm torn between Aruba (occidental resort) and Jamaica (grand lido negril, superclubs).

We like Jamaica b/c we get the most for our $, and theres no kids.

We like Aruba b/c theres no hurricanes.

We don't like Jamaica b/c of the threat of hurricanes.

We don't like Aruba, b/c its not adults only.

They're both AI's. We like to drink ALOT.

I am in the same situation, we have not booked yet but we are thinking a week in jamaica and a week in Disney. That way we are guaranteed part of a honeymoon, worst case scenario. I also checked with where we are thinking of staying and both had Hurricane Guarantees (The Caves and Hedonism II). We def wanted adults only, all inclusive since we drink a lot too!

I want to go to greece, but we are probably going to Mexico. i know it is hurricane season, but what are you going to do. Unless you go to europe/hawaii or someplace not in south america you take the chance.

I'm going on a cruise to the bahamas, and if there is a hurricane it will just travel up to new england and canada. This way I won't have to completely cancel the honeymoon, it will just take a detour.

we went to aventura spa palace over the summer and we loved it!!! but we want something different for our HM.

which resort in Antigua are u staying at?

We have NO CLUE where to go! I am worried about hurricanes also...have you looked into hurricane insurance? I think Sandals does full refunds, and they have 2 places on St. Lucia..

Have no clue yet either!!

We were thinking Chile or Peru... But not sure about the weather issue so maybe Hawaii and stop somewhere to go skiing on the way back for a few days.. always wanted to do that in our summer!!

So still researching....

For whoever mentioned Greece... definitely go - its beautiful!! Santorini is a must!
