Besides for Hawaii, Aruba, and Europe where is a good place to go on your honeymoon in August? I'm worried about hurricanes and rain since we will be going the end of August-beginning of Sept.
We went ot Grand Cayman for a week, then Disney World for a week. Grand Cayman was beautiful, and what we needed to relax. The food was great, the people were awesome, and we stayed at the Marriott which was beautiful.

Re: August Honeymoon
My FH and I actually decided to put off our honeymoon until December because where we wanted to go was monsoon season. We are going to go on a mini-honey moon after wedding--a couple days in Montreal or something like that.
Besides Hawaii, Aruba and Europe, have you thought about Mexico or South America and Latin America? It's winter going into spring in South America, but places like Argentina and Chile are beautiful at that time of year.
What are you interested in for your honeymoon?

Re: August Honeymoon
Europe is not the best place to visit in August. All of Europe is on 'holiday' for the month of August - it's super crowded and terribly hot.
Mexico...Costa Rica...Tahiti...Fiji - I think these would be fine for August.

Thanks for your suggestions ladies! I will def check all of those out. We kinda wanted to go to the caribbean but I heard that is the rainy season. But the Cayman Islands might work.

Re: August Honeymoon
We were worried about hurricane season also so we opted to take a cruise (Royal Carribean). Our travel agent said that the boat can always sail away from the storm.
Ours leaves out of NYC and is stopping at Labadee, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and the Bahammas.
