Re: August outdoor ceremony
i will let you know after my wedding lol
FH has his heart set on an outdoor ceremony and CH (ceremony starts at 6:30pm). I think it would be beautiful however I am def concerned about the heat/humidity. Fortunately, our RH allows us to decide that morning what we want to do. So it will be a last minute decision...if the night before seems comfortable outside then we will go for it but if not we wont. Forget about the guests being comfortable...think about yourself. walk outside during the month of august this summer around 7pm and think about what you are wearing...imagine being in that heat for over an hour in a heavy dress and FH being outside in a shirt & jacket...if you both are comfortable with it then go for it!

Re: August outdoor ceremony
my ceremony was at 11:30am, CH was noon - 1pm ... i was lucky and it was not THAT hot (and not humid at all) ... but it's really hit-or-miss.
i think you should plan on an outdoor ceremony & CH but still have a backup plan in case it rains or is unbearably hot.
ps: i was REALLLY REALLY hot during the ceremony .... with the big wedding dress and veil covering my face the entire time, i was getting no air / circulation ... i was definitely a little sweaty but i obviously survived
