I'm looking for something affordable for August, so I guess much of the Carribean is out since its hurricane season. Any suggestions on a place thats reasonably priced?

Mexico, dependent on where you go, they are prone to hurricanes that time of year also

DH and i are going to CA in august for our 1 yr anniv., mainly napa valley, and then we plan to road trip over to vegas (with some stops along the way, of course!)
