We were thinking about somewhere tropical (e.g. Jamaica or St. John) but our wedding is late August. I'm afraid of getting bad weather in the carribean. Does anyone have any ideas??

Aruba. We did it for 2 weeks. 8/25/08 - 9/5/08 it was awesome! Got a little rain the worst they have seen in 8 years! But it was awesome!!! It is under the hurricane belt.
ETA - you are getting married 1 year after I did!! Now you have to look into Aruba!!!

we are taking a 4 night cruise out of miami, going to bahamas and key west (if we get caught in a hurricane, they will try to reroute ship, no biggie)... and then we're going to aruba for 1 week

St Andres island is close by aruba i heard it's beautiful there it's part of Colombia also check out Curacao
