I think you can ask the homeowners how much they pay each month for some utilities. It was in our contract that if we wanted they would provide copies of the utility bills for the last 3 months or something like that.

I dont really know our exact bills but AT&T is about $54 a month, water is like $20 every 3 months, our homeowners is about $700 for the year. we dont have gas. IMO using the old homeowners bills as a basis for yours is not really useful. LIPA told us that the previous owners of our house were paying like 300+ per month. We pay about $150. But they had 2 kids and someone was always home, we work full time and dont have any kids.

we are just starting to learn about bills and it stinks!! we are in a teeny tiny house, about 800 square feet of living space (it also has a basement, attic and garage though, thank god) our lipa is about 175/month our keyspan is also about 175/month, we have the triple plan from optimum (LOVE IT) its about 105/month, that covers our cable, phone line (it includes sooo much) and also our optimum online!! water is so cheap i dont even know how much to tell you the truth. not sure about homeowners yet, we are buying my grandfathers house but have not closed yet nor have we gotten homeowner ins. estimates yet. hope this helps!

Gas - i have gas for heat and water heat and stove- it will be like $150/month - less in the winter
Electric - $120 a month (we have central air)
Water - 275 every 6 months for our sewer (im in CT though)
Phone/cable/optimum - we got the triple play- its costing about $100-120 a month for all three)
