This is our budget and so far so good we're pretty on the mark...
DJ $2500
Florist $2500
Photographer (just pics, no video) $2300schlepp
Invitations 600-700
Guest Favors $5/per guest
Limo N/A....the fox hollows hotel is right next door, so no guest schlepping
of course, then u have the 'little things' like money holder, guest book, guest seating chart, bridal favors.....trying to keep the whole shabang under $30k. Wish us luck

average Budgets for florists, dj, limos and photo/video - Long Island Weddings

I'm going with an all inclusive package so my dj, photo, video. limo and 10 center pieces are included. but I did do alot of shopping just incase we didn't go that route. here the average cost I can remember off the top of my head.

dj - just dj no mc for 4 hrs only was $800-$1200
photo/ video I don't have
florist- I all along planned on diy centerpieces so I only know bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres- I needed 21 pieces mine, toss, 7 bm bouquets. then 2 corsages and 10 boutonniere my bm were going to have 4 calla lillies instead of bouquets to save money that was still $500 min. type of flowers really make a difference!
lastly limos- depends on size but there was this one company that sent me a thing in the mail for pick up drop off services for 28 pass bus was $800 or do another company for 3 hrs was $1200 for 14 pass suv. cheapest small 8 pass I've seen for 3 hrs was $500 I think.

hope I helped a little! hope the tasting goes well! the sand castle is one of the places I never made it to, I've heard good things!

We're getting married at Floral Terrace and thinking of using their centerpieces too. Since they're 'brother' halls, I wonder if the CPs are the same?

Limos: Depending on what you want, you could probably be at around $1500.

Photographer: Our photographer is WAY out of our budget, but we do know that there are places that offer packages around $3,500-4,000 for photo. If you don't have your heart set on a particular place, definitely shop around.

DJ: Our DJs basic package started at $1600. I'm not sure what package we have, but it's costing us around $2200 for everything - including a photobooth.

Yay we are venue twins!!!

I am using Genesis and they quoted $2000 for dj and mc

I am not using Deja vu but for my photographer I am paying $4200 for basically everything. All day photographer/videographer, proofs on CD and portraits. Thank you cards and such.

Florist, since you are using Sand Castles centerpieces (they are great aren't they) I would say florist should only be around 1000-1500 at most. Depends what you are getting.

Limo- I am using Trans Star Executive and they quoted me $750 for a party bus for 3.5 hours and $350 for a stetch limo for 3.5 hours

we budgeted $2500 for DJ and came in lower than that with a photobooth included. DJs are very competitive so don't hesitate to play one off the other to get a better price.

What florist is everyone using? I'm on a super tight budget with this. I'm using floating candles with maybe a long stem flower inside. I know this shouldn't come to much.

Hey venue twins! (or should it be triplets? lol) My FI and I have started seeking out vendors and have started on the recommended list. While we have not sat down and met with any yet, some photographers have quoted a base price of 2000+ and DJs around 1500+.

Which photographer company are you using? That seems like a good deal for what you're getting!

Try and contact Rose form Designs by Rose, SUPER NICE mother daughter team, and willing to work with any budget. Their prices are fair and a lot less than what I was quoted from other florists. And they know how to stretch a buck and they do beautiful work. I can FM you a sample of my centerpieces that she's done for me if you want.
