That seems about right.. and it is possible if you don't invite the world...
Cost of living is much higher in the state of NY and CA..... one of my buddies in Chicago had a wedding for under $5K....It wasn't anything crazy though.......just close friends and family and not at a crazy RH

it's REALLY scary when you think about how weddings in areas like ours are probably pulling the average WAY up.

What's sad is my friend had a budget a little over this and it was considered a budget wedding! Unbelievable! Things are so $$ but I do love our CH and cash envelopes!
