Average cost of BM gifts?

How much is everyone spending on the bridesmaid gifts?

I have a lot 6 BM and 1 MOH
i will proabbaly spend just over $100
more for my MOH
(I want to get them something from Tiffany's)

I bought them bracelets. I think they were about $125

Mine started cheap..adding up...gift cards , different for each ( one tanning, one spa, one nails) pedicure sets, their jewlery, and swaroski crcystal pic frames....about $100-$125 each

I am spending approx. $100.00 on each bridesmaid. I might get something extra for my sister; the MOH.

Mine cam eot about $80 for each BM and $200 for my MOH, sister.

So far, I jsut got them a jewelry set which was on sale for $15... I don't knwo what else to get them. I'm hoping not more than $100 per person, maybe $150 for my sister (MOH)

I spent about $500 on my MOH (sister) and am probably going to spend about $200-$250 on each bridesmaid

Just a suggestion, but here's what I got my girls. I got them all (and for myself) matching pajamas because we're all spending the night before the wedding at a hotel together, got everyone matching fleece throw blankets, stuffed FAO bunnies (I just thought they were so cute), their jewelry sets for the day, aromatherapy packages (soaps, body wash, lotion, teas and candle), photo albums, picture frames, and a big candle. I may also add a gift certificate for a manicure to the little spa packages I made.

I got them Coach bags from the outlets ($95) and bath and lotion sets ($25)

I can't say they have killed themselves working on anything for the wedding and they haven't even paid me for their dresses yet and it's been a year!

Wow, okay this totally freaked me out. I was planning on spending less then half of what seems to be the average! (And my FMIL thinks I am nuts for that much)

My question is this: Is the BM's gifts supposed to be a token/keepsake of the wedding and their role? Or is it supposed to be a useful present? Like a camera for the girl who loves to take pictures?

What do you think? (I may also post this as its own topic, because now it is really worrying me!)

Spent $75 for each BM (3) and over $100 on MOH (my sister).
