Average price for DJ

Again I am playing the role of the best MOH ever to my sister by doing some research for her. (she really isnt into the wedding planning thing)

Anyway, she is getting married in November 2013 and started looking at DJs.

She was quoted $2500 for one. It included music for the CH, room lighting and a photo montage (but no additional photography) and obviously the music at the reception.

Does this sound about right?

Yeah if it includes the lighting I think that sounds right. We are paying $2200 without lighting.

We were quoted a little higher which I thought was a bit much, looks like we're going to have to keep looking!
