It is really hard to say, partly due to the fact what some people consider 'extras', others may consider optional and don't even include in the budget.
My recommendation would be do get on one of the wedding websites and use the budget calculator function. I like the wedding channel's because it includes all of the 'extras' I think you are talking about. This has helped a great deal, especially with the FH. He was able to *actually see* that we were going to need XXX dollars for this shin dig.

We are paying the following(we are on a budget since we are paying for everything, i did a lot of research and hagled);
Limo- 22 pass esclade five hours-$1200
Photos- we have all day, free engagement pictures, we are going to get on cd and print ourselves and make albums through shutterfly-$1086
Video- I really wanted video and needed to find someone that would work with the little we could spend and i did, and he is quality, we get 3 dvds, recording from ceramony till our depature some effects, editing and recap -$870
DJ- MC & DJ light show and cocktail hour music-$1500
Flowers- no centerpiece flowers, just bridal party and cake- $433

the rule of thumb is that youre wedding will cost be double what youre paying total for your rh so thats would be a good way to estimate what all that other stuff will amount to

i've heard that you should budget that the RH is about 1/2 of your wedding cost and the rest will equal what is spent on all your other vendors. maybe you can use that as a high level estimate?
