My FH just bought this, its awesome When we were away in rochester we were watching Donny Deautsh on the Big Idea and they had the guy on who invented Slingbox
its awesome, we got and you can watch your tv from anywhere on your computer. You can watch all your on demand shows, you can watch anything on your DVR you can watch any channel, that your cable box has.
thats cool, but mine is on the computer too much already, like i should talk lol

Its great for traveling
When we stayed at a hotel in rochester, it was great except there were no tv stations, i went all week without vh1, mtv and e!
if i would of had this then, i would of been much happier.
Its great for traveling or if you go somewhere and they dont have cable lol

Re: Awesome Gift Idea for your FH's
FH's sister's boyfriend bought this earlier this year and it was suchhhh a %^&*( to set up, and everytime our internet goes down, he has to reconfigure something....concept is great but they still have some tweeking to do. He watches tv from his laptop in England b/c they charge you tax JUST TO HAVE a television IN YOUR HOUSE.
