So I got my braces on in 6th grade (12 years ago), and then had them taken off Freshman year of HS......well Freshman year of college they went back on (6 years ago), and at my last appt - 3 weeks ago - they told me that they didn't think they would be ready to come off by the wedding! I was so upset. Well I went to the orthodontist today and he scheduled me o get them taken off on Sept 5th!!!! Just in time for my Sept 17th wedding!!!! I am sooooooooooooooo excited!!!!

That's great!!! That's a long time to wear those babies!!! Good for you! I too have worn them twice-what a pain in the butt!!!
