aww, the memories :-)

soo... DHs best friend and his gf just got engaged last weekend. he took her to paris and did it there so, we were looking at their pictures last night and in like every pic she had to have her ring showing- it was so funny and cute. and it just brought back memories of first being engaged and having the new shiny ring and being all excited
BUT- i'm not looking forward to their wedding planning time!! she already admitted shes gonna be bridezilla ( even before they went ring shopping) she said ' you hvaen't seen bridezilla till you've seen me' and ' i don't care if my dress is $5000, it just has to be perfect!' so... yeah... we're gonna have a monster on our hands... LOL

LOL thanks! DH and i have been married almost a year and half, so i bought her an engagement card and wrote something in there like ' try not to stress about the planning. once you're married you'll see that the wedding is only one day in your life with each other.,.. and even if everything isn't perfect, at the end of the day, you'll still get to spend the rest of your lives together' blah blah.. LOL i'm hoping she takes the hint!

isn't it funny how you go from thinking your wedding day as the end all be all of your life and after the day is over it's like 'I was stressing about what??'

Sounds like a real winner there with the Bridezilla thing, tell her she can only join LIW if she's going to be a good girl!!
